St Ives Medieval Feast

Hello my forest friends, it has been a while since I have written a blog. But today I have some time and want to share the medieval feast experience I had at St Ives Medieval Faire this year.

This was my first time experiencing a medieval themed feast! And I thoroughly enjoyed it. Each feast participant was given a copy of the menu to keep. We were able to sample everything on the menu, which was a pleasant surprise. The ymbre day tart was my favourite and hopefully when I get some time I will make my own version. Throughout the night we were entertained by medieval stories and a treated to a lovely trapeze act.

I have attached a few photos from the feast. Hope you guys enjoy them and I would love to hear if some of you have been treated to such a fantastic feast.

Welcome to my blog

For some time now I have been wanting to start blogging again- I had once tried it before but I did not have any direction I desired to go with it; but now I do. So I started a new blog and I hope to fill it for many years ahead with my adventures, projects, ideas, and opinions. So I can one day look back and revisit all of these when the time has come that I have almost forgotten. Well I do hope that the internet does last that long teehehehe.

To start off I wanted to share one of my long running projects with you all. After I saw Super fan Builds make an amazing hobbit hole litter box. I too wanted to make one for my cat. And now I have decided to make it more natural by removing the fake grass mat and replacing it with a lovely moss garden.. I have a wonderful vision for it when it is complete. So far I have gathered all the moss I need and the foam mat. All I need is some glue and time to put it together.

Tell me about any small or large projects you are completing or have completed.
